Stephen Stanley
About
Stephen Stanley is an American Christian singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from McDonough, Georgia. The son of a pastor, he was given a guitar by his mother at age nine after a jet-skiing accident left him deaf in his left ear, and by thirteen he was playing piano and drums, writing songs, and leading worship at his father's church. He spent his early career writing and recording independently — funding studio time through odd jobs and house concerts — before showcases in Georgia and Nashville caught the attention of Capitol CMG, which signed him in early 2020. His debut single "No Hopeless Soul" (December 2020) drew millions of global streams, and his self-titled debut EP followed in April 2021. Drawing on the 70s and 80s rock his father raised him on, Stanley writes emotionally direct songs that openly address mental health, anxiety, and depression while pointing toward hope and the love of God. He has continued releasing music through Capitol CMG / Sparrow Records, including the 2026 EP "Change."
