Phil King is a Christian worship leader and songwriter originally from Turlock, CA in California's Central Valley. He wrote his first song at age 9, began leading worship at 16, and in his early 20s became worship leader at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, later serving as a worship pastor at Gateway Church. He released an independent album "Giants & Oceans" (2014) before signing with Gateway Music, which issued his label debut LP "All Glory" (March 2020), produced by UPPERROOM's Matt Fish and recorded live at Christ for the Nations. He now serves at Trinity Fellowship Church in Amarillo, TX, and is the inaugural artist for Euphonic City, a label co-founded by his mentors Paul Wright and Jennie Lee Riddle. His songwriting credits include cuts with Leeland, Matt Redman, Micah Tyler, Christine D'Clario, and Rita Springer; he has performed on records/events with Michael W. Smith, Danny Gokey, Charity Gayle, and Lauren Daigle. He also authored the book "Defending the Purity of Worship."
