Hunter Christian Plake (b. November 14, 1995, Baton Rouge, LA) is a Christian alt-pop singer, songwriter, and producer. Raised in a musical, ministry-oriented family (his father performed in the Christian rock band Brother Brother), he led worship at his home church as a teen. He rose to national attention on Season 12 of NBC's The Voice in 2017, first on Team Alicia Keys before being stolen by Gwen Stefani, ultimately finishing fifth. After several years chasing secular pop in Los Angeles and a 2020 personal breakdown that redirected him to faith, he signed with BEC Recordings in April 2023 and released the EP Thunderbird featuring "Holy Ghost (Fill This Room)," followed by singles including "West Coast Babies," "More In Love," and the 2024 Britt Nicole duet "Daylight."
