TAYA (Taya Smith Gaukrodger, born 1989 in Lismore, Australia) rose to global recognition as a lead vocalist of Hillsong UNITED and Hillsong Worship, best known for delivering the vocals on the multi-platinum 2013 single "Oceans (Where Feet May Fail)" and "Touch the Sky." She moved to Sydney in 2010, began serving at Hillsong Church, and toured worldwide with the collective for over a decade.

She moved to Sydney in 2010, began serving at Hillsong Church, and toured worldwide with the collective for over a decade. In partnership with Capitol Christian Music Group, she launched her solo career in 2022 with the single "For All My Life" and her self-titled debut album TAYA (May 2022). Her sophomore album "The Reminder" followed in April 2025, supported by her first US headline tour. She continues to write, record, and lead worship internationally, blending arena-scale pop-worship production with intimate ballads.
