Citizens, formerly known as Citizens & Saints, is an American Christian rock band formed in 2011 in Seattle, Washington. Led by vocalist and guitarist Zach Bolen, the band originated as a worship project at Mars Hill Church. After Mars Hill's dissolution in 2014, the band continued independently, releasing albums through Humble Beast and later signing with Anotherland, an independent label founded by Hillsong's Joel Houston. Their sound blends alternative rock, post-punk, and electronic indie pop with faith-driven lyrics.
