Ryan Ellis is a worship leader, songwriter, and former U.S. Navy veteran who served five years including a tour in Afghanistan. Before music ministry, he was a founding member of the Jabbawockeez hip-hop dance crew. After a personal encounter with Jesus, he became worship pastor at Isla Vista Upper Room in California and joined the Housefires Gospel Community. His single 'Heart of the Father' amassed over 34 million streams, and he penned Chris Tomlin's 'Resurrection Power,' earning an ASCAP 'Most Performed Song 2018' award.
